Special Delivery

Happy Wednesday! I am sharing this sweet layout from Hadley's very first moments in this world.
When I saw this sketch at Sketch N Scrap, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it.
I used those little squares to journal the date, hospital, time, weight, length, and weather outside as she was born.
So love this rose I cut from burlap stack using my Artiste cartridge. LOVE it!!!!!
Another peek at the journaling on the squares and those little gems are from Paper Studio!!!!!
Recipe: Papers~Bramble Rose MME, Bling~Prima and gemstones are The Paper Studio, rose cut from Artiste using Special Materials burlap stack, small flowers are from Recollections. I have had that rubber footprint stamp for 14....so happy to have used it again. Ranger Gathered Twings Distress inks

Sketches in Thyme #130

Hello Tuesday! It is my day to reveal at Sketches in Thyme and our last reveal for this month. I am so loving this album I'm putting together for my baby niece, Hadley. Here is one more of her and my Daddy, (her Poppie). She loves all of us, but she is Pop's girl.
I kept to the sketch....simply because I love it just as it is!
A little bling and ink = one happy girl....ME!!!
Since it is a companion page to this one, I used an overlay as my little title.
Bramble Rose MME papers, The Paper Studio doily, Prima flowers and bing, Offray lace ribbon, Gathered Twigs Ranger distress ink, and Making Memories overlay.
I hope you decide to join us for this last week of September at Sketches in Thyme, you still have time to get your two layouts in for our yummy prize!

Sketch~N~Scrap #34

Happy Monday peeps!!!! I hope you are all ready for a fantastic week. Cooler temps are headed our as fall comes in. Today I am sharing a card that was inspired by Sketch #34 at Sketch N Scrap
I used a scrap base paper from MME Bramble Rose and Hello Tweety stamp from CTMH
You will notice I rotated the sketch to the right 90 degrees and just went wild with the little flourish stamp in this set.... love the birds also. Of course, if you know me, you know it was kind of "naked" before the bit of bling (Bo Bunny).
Fun sketch to play along with!

Explore...

Well....I decided to create a layout for the DT Call over at Colorful Creations. The call is open and requires a layout based on this sketch and fall colors. I love the sketch and when I saw it.....
This photo and my Wild Saffron papers came to mind. I have hoarded this stack for so long and usually do one or two layouts each year with this paper....I love it so much!!!!! Almost like I must have a "special" reason to use it....hee hee....You know that feeling????
I did add a little journal card to my sketch...the photo just begged for journaling.
I wanted some inking on here but didn't want to overdo, so I pulled out a mask and used just a bit of Vintage Photo distressing ink to add a hint of ink.
I so love all the chipboard pieces that were available with this line.
So hop on over to Colorful Creations, play along with their monthly challenges, and if you are feeling inspired....submit a layout for the DT Call.

Happy Wednesday! Sharing a quick layout this morning that I did for Ashlea's album.
This is for her eighth grade year. Graduation is such a happy and bittersweet time. She is not my little girl any longer. Now, she's my big girl. I used the sketch at Let's Get Sketchy from September Week 1.

You are amazing.....

Happy Tuesday..... I am so in love with this photo of my Ashlea. This was taken just outside her junior high school immediately after graduation in May. Love how the sun was beginning to set behind the building and the glow it gave this photo.
Inspired by this sketch at Colorful Creations (which is having a DT call, by the way...check it out)
love, love, LOVE the little banner and the twine.
Hee Hee....even used the little slip of title strip from the paper as an embellie on this one.

Cherish.....

Good Sunday to you, peeps. Isn't this sketch from Paper Secrets just beautiful?
I had to make a page for my sweet Hadley and my Daddy, (her Poppie).
The challenge along with the sketch is to use items that begin with letters from  LABOR.
L~lace, A~antique linen ink, B~bling, O~overlay (title), R~rosettes, store product~Bramble Rose papers.
I've had this overlay in my stash for years...perfect for this sweet layout.
love how the antique linen ink looks on the lace.

For the love of the game.....

Happy Saturday! I have been in withdrawl....my laptop crashed and I spent the entire week without a laptop.....yikes!!!! But I now have a brand spanking new windows 8.1 and ready to share, share, share.... with that said, here is a fun layout using the sketch at MSAM
This sketch is perfect for baseball....and this Nee Nee has plenty of pics to scrap!
This entire page was created using the We R Memory Keepers MVP paper stack. The twill ribbon was a scrap in my stash. Of course, I used Ranger Walnut distress inks. I used my really old but still awesome Creative Memories circle tools to cut those perfect circles.
