Color Dare #157...

I wanted to play along this week with the Color Dare #157. Beautiful palette to work with....
I came up with this....I used a Kraft base, cut the doily from the Elegant Edges cartridge, pulled out some long gone, but still beautiful butterflies, hemp, and pearls. I used the current Framed SOM sentiment.
Hope you enjoyed your visit! Leave some love so I can return the favor!

Today was the best!

I love this photo of my my little man (nephew) and my Daddy! Jon-Christopher heads south to Tennessee as soon as All Stars is over. He then spends the remainder of his summer with Mom and Dad at the lake. He trades is glove, ball, and bat in for a rod, reel, and pontoon! This is how my retired Daddy and little man spend their time, 9-5 (and all day). The challenge at Heart 2 Heart is Working 9-5.  I pulled out my Jackson papers for this one.....
and was inspired to create this layout using Sketch #162 by Brenda Ragsdale at Sketches in Thyme!
Thanks for coming by today!

Blessed life....

Happy Sunday! I was inspired by one of my team members, Mary Newman, to create this layout!
It does a fantastic job of showcasing our new Zoe paper line as well as the fabulous cuts found in the new Artistry cartridge.

This photo includes all my nieces and my nephew, along with my gran. This was her 89th birthday dinner. I had a lot of fun with this one, and thanks to Mary Newman for the inspiration!
I think this color scheme can work for the photo inspiration challenge over at Just Us Girls....

Zoe display frame

I used my Artistry cartridge to create some flowers and a butterfly to decorate a Zoe display frame.
I bought the canvas banners and bitty clothes pins at Michael's and just cut the letters from the Artistry also.
Now, I have a display frame for my Zoe/Artistry cards.
This frame will be easily interchangeable with each featured paper pack. I'm very happy with how pretty this one is.....

me & you....

I finally got to make a companion page to one I had posted a week ago. I let the sun go down and unfortunately, the photo is not good at all. I do apologize. I used some more Zoe papers and cut the title from the Cricut Artistry cartridge.
and here was the first page I created ....
Baby girl sure loves Miss Bella!

you are my sunshine...

The theme at Heart 2 Heart  this month is "Good Day, Sunshine"....and so I went for this card....

created loosely on this Sketch-N-Scrap sketch....
I loved this icon cut from the Artistry cartridge. Can you say, "LOVE"?
I also really wanted our cute enamel triangles to pop, so I added just a bit of Coral Shimmer trim, mission accomplished!
Here are the icon cuts from the Artistry cartridge.

Artistry Meets Stamp of the Month....

I needed a quick "Thank You" for my best friend. I had an early meeting this morning and had told her I would just make muffins and fruit for a light breakfast for my meeting. She came in to the office with Overnight French Toast, fresh out of the oven . She said, I just wanted to make something for your meeting. Isn't that just the sweetest friend?!!! She loves to shop online and she loves coffee....
So I created this fun card....
and I put a $25 Pay Pal card inside so she can treat herself to something "sweet"!
This card and the gift card pocket was cut using the new Critcut Artistry cartridge and Zoe papers.

You & Me...

I am down to the scraps of some of my Zoe papers. What do you do with scraps? Make banners!!!! I used the Artistry cartridge to cut the shape banner and stamped it in Whisper. This card is for the hubby, so I went more masculine. AND this just happens to be the exact color combo over at Color My Heart Color Dare this week!
The stamp I used is a stamp that is exclusive to the Artistry collection. You will see it in the upper right corner in the photo below.
If you haven't placed your order for the Artistry cartridge yet or the ever fabulous Zoe collection, you can order here

Rose Blossom Blog Hop!

Today is August 15 and that can only mean one thing, time for.....
If you have just come from Kristine's Merry Heart Creations, you are right on track, if not you will find a complete list of each Blossom at the end of this post.
This hop features our brand new Artistry Cricut Cartridge. I knew right away what I wanted to showcase....this Dachshund, the paw print background, and the best pals shape and overlay. Of course, I had to use our fabulous Zoe papers for this card, again showcasing the versatility!
Here is a close up. My card is 5.5 X 4.25. I cut the paw prints at 4 inches, the dog is cut at 2 inches, and the sentiment is cut a 1.5 inches.
Just look at all you get when you order the Artistry!!!!
Now, you want to visit Brenda Rose to finish the hop!
If you missed someone on the hop, don't worry here are links for everyone. Be sure to visit each and every Blossom, they are so very talented and sure to inspire you!!!

Zoe Sympathy Crad

Just posting a very quick sympathy card today for a co-worker. This stamp is retired but it is my go-to when I need a sympathy card. Those words are so reassuring to me.
I used the softer side of Zoe with some small dovetails strips in the other patterns and to tie it all together the glacier twine and touch of coral shimmer trim is the perfect touch.
Be sure to leave a comment and let me know your thoughts!!!

Zoe+Artistry=Love....

Can we say LOVE???? That is my one and only emotion for CTMH and August early release products!
This card is featuring more of our fabulous Zoe and some Artistry cuts!
The sentiment is cut first in white daisy in the banner then the ever so elegant Love is cute in slate. I used some coral shimmer trim and the little yellow flower comes in the complements set.
This card was inspired by this sketch at Sketch Saturday
I'd love to hear your thoughts on our Zoe paper and the Artistry cartridge!
Be sure to check out our August specials in my right sidebar.
